Tater Tot Casserole

 Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef (or ground turkey)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup frozen corn kernels
  • 1 cup frozen green beans
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 pound frozen tater tots
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional toppings: chopped fresh parsley, sliced green onions, or sour cream

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the Ground Beef:

    • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef (or turkey) over medium-high heat until it's browned and cooked through.
    • Drain any excess fat from the skillet.
  3. Sauté Onion and Garlic:

    • Add the finely chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the cooked beef.
    • Sauté for a few minutes until the onion becomes translucent.
  4. Combine Soup and Milk:

    • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the condensed cream of mushroom soup and milk until smooth.

    • Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the cheese.
